Lab Build: The Roof Is Up - 08/04/17

The walls are done and a large part of the roof construction is complete. Contrary to what I previously believed, the roof is strong enough to stand on which is an added perk. Next week the rest of the chipboard panels will be secured on and then the whole thing will be painted with a chemical, fiberglass resin that will form a water proof seal. If you look closely you can see that the whole roof slants slightly to the left allowing rain to run off. A gutter will then be ran across the lower end into a gravel drainage system underground so the water can flow away quickly and properly.
